Starts a phone verification session. Provide service (or deprecated target) and country_code.

Either service or target is required; service is preferred. Requires phone:write API key scope.

Service name to verify with (e.g. "WhatsApp", "Telegram").

country_code*string

ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country code for the phone number.

channel?string

Delivery channel. Defaults to sms.

Phone number type filter. real_number restricts to providers that supply real carrier numbers. Omit or use any for the default behavior (all available providers).
